Photos From The Feast Of Tabernacles 2013 @ Shepherd’s Point
Although we had to make an emergency relocation and change camping areas at the last minute Sukkot 2013 was a great blessing for everyone. Therefore, Sukkot 2014 will be held at Shepherd’s Point campground also. In fact, the three participating messianic groups that sponsored the event in 2013 will be reserving the entire campground for the Feast of Tabernacles 2014. As a result, registration will be required for 2014.
These are a few select photos from the 2013 Feast of Tabernacles event. This sideshow includes some random campsites, one evening prayer gathering, yeshiva graduation and a rabbinic ordination. This is just a small window into all the excitement, events and activities at Sukkot 2013. During Sukkot 2014 the Yeshiva hopes to have another graduate guest speaker who will also be seeking ordination as well as a myriad of other activities. We hope to see you at The feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) 2014. Please Register Today.

“Everyone was filled with awe, and many miracles and signs took place through the emissaries. All those trusting in Yeshua stayed together and had everything in common; in fact, they sold their property and possessions and distributed the proceeds to all who were in need. Continuing faithfully and with singleness of purpose to meet in the Temple courts daily, and breaking bread in their several homes, they shared their food in joy and simplicity of heart, praising God and having the respect of all the people. And day after day the Lord kept adding to them those who were being saved.” (Act 2:43-47 CJB; by David Stern)
Sukkot 2014 Shepherd’s Point Camping
Location:
It has been said in the real estate market that the three most important issues concerning real estate are location, location and location. Finding the right location to host an annual Sukkot assembly also requires a lot of thought and planning concerning the proper location. The last minute turmoil of an emergency change of location for Sukkot 2013 was turned into a blessing. As a result, of the blessings received at the location where Sukkot 2013 was held the congregational leaders made the decision to hold Sukkot 2014 at the same location. You Can Register Here
Sukkot 2014 will Be @ Shepherd’s Point on Hepburn Lake. Hepburn Lake is about 13 miles southwest of Sapulpa in Creek County. Heyburn lies in a picturesque setting of grasslands and gently sloping, wooded hills covered with postoak, blackjack and other oak with some hickory, ash, elm and cottonwood. In the spring, visitors enjoy the flowering wild plum and redbud trees. Recreation facilities at the three areas on the perimeter of the lake include picnic areas, rest rooms and showers, playground, boat launch and swimming. Sunset Bay offers tent campsites, Sheppard Point offers both RV and tent camping, and Heyburn Park offers RV sites. Catfish are abundant and some fishermen declare trot-lining is unsurpassed here. Largemouth bass, crappie and sunfish are also found in the headwaters and in the arms of Tiger, Polecat and Brown Creeks. During hunting season, project lands provide opportunities for waterfowl and whitetail deer. Heyburn Public Hunting Area covers more than 6,000 acres of project lands and provides hunting opportunities for squirrel, rabbit, quail, waterfowl and wild turkey. Lake has 920 surface acres and 52 miles of shoreline. Lake info recording is 405-259-6728. You Can Register Here
The Assistance Mandate:
“Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine: And thou shalt rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite, the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within thy gates.”(Devarim 16:13-14 KJV)
The Sukkot Feast Fund exists to provide camping equipment for those individuals who desire to celebrate Sukkot (aka) The Feast Of Tabernacles with Ruach V’Emet but cannot provide their own equipment.
Sukkot Need Fund:
This Feast Of Tabernacles need fund will only survive and be able to provide camping equipment if the messianic community unities to support this effort. Unfortunately, past experience has shown that it is very difficult for the messianic community to come together and accomplish a common goal even when it is biblically mandated.
Clearly the world is changing and messianic groups need to learn to come together for the common good as a witness to the world. In spirit of unity and for the good of whole messianic community we ask for donations and assistance to make celebrating the feast of Sukkot possible for those individuals in messianic community who are unable to provide for themselves.
The goal of the Sukkot Need fund is used to provide pleasurable camping experiences and assistance for those in need. Our goal is to be able to assist individuals in need, with camping equipment and campsite rental as mandated by Devarim 16:13-14 KJV.
Congregational Equipment:
Funds have been provided to obtain congregational camping equipment this equipment will be available for loan to individuals who need the equipment to celebrate Sukkot with our local community.
This program is patterned after the way that many camping clubs provide equipment for their members. For example, this is similar to the way that scout groups provide tents during their camping trips. The main difference between this program and secular camping clubs is that for the Feast of Tabernacles believers are required to provide for those in need and commanded in Deuteronomy (Devarim) 16:13-14
