Before viewing our
sample class room please take a few moments and discover why the learning
experience at ABOUT-Torah is unique, when compared to other messianic
schools.
-
The primary differences we have with other institutions, are based on our three
phase approach to studding Torah. The three phase we use as a teaching tools
are, linguistic studies, historical studies, and critical studies.
-
Linguistic studies are taught at this school to enhance the students
ability to discern the original intent of the Torah. Historical studies allow the student to discover the past and
current trends, and social environments that helped form a Torah based society. Critical studies allow the students to analyze the Torah in ways that would
never be allowed in a congregational setting. Using these three methods, students are able to
set aside doctrinal understandings and learn about the Torah for what the Torah says, and not
from a predominant theology.
-
Using these three tools, we are able to triangulate on the true intent of the
Torah. This allows the student to become decerners of the Torah and not decerners of theology. As a result, students are
capable of becoming the true "Light of the World" as HaShem intended. We hope
that you are fully convinced this is the school for you, after you view the
samples.
