THE TWO TYPES OF ORDINATION
OMJRA RABBINIC ORDINATION
Ordination by the OMJRA is open to all who meet the following qualifications:
- Belief in, and confession of faith in the L-rd Yeshua's Deity and
Messiahship.
- Is either Jewish by birth; (The OMJRA recognizes Maternal or Paternal blood
lines), or has formally converted to Messianic Judaism according to
an acceptable groups messianic halacha.
- It is assumed a rabbi is Jewish. Therefore, to become a rabbi an individual must be circumcised.
- In fact, for similar reasons Paul circumcised Timothy
- Acts 16:1-3 states "Then came he to Derbe and Lystra: and, behold, a certain disciple was there, named Timotheus, the son of a certain woman, which was a Jewess, and believed; but his father was a Greek: Which was well reported of by the brethren that were at Lystra and Iconium. Him would Paul have to go forth with him; and took and circumcised him because of the Jews which were in those quarters: for they knew all that his father was a Greek."
- The OMJRA will assist individuals interested in receiving a halachaic conversion.

And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain. But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:"
